Terms of Service

Gradux is a graduate career operating system. It provides tools to manage job applications, build a knowledge base of your experience, practice for assessments, and prepare for interviews.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We will give reasonable notice where practicable.

You must be at least 16 years old to use Gradux. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you will keep it up to date.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access. We are not liable for losses resulting from your failure to keep your credentials secure.

You may not create accounts on behalf of others, share your account with third parties, or use automated means to create accounts.

You agree not to:

• Use Gradux for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations
• Upload content that is defamatory, obscene, or infringes third-party rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users’ data or our systems
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or scrape the service
• Use Gradux to send spam or unsolicited communications
• Resell or commercially exploit the service without our written permission

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

Gradux uses artificial intelligence to help generate cover letters, interview preparation, STAR example matching, and other content. AI-generated content is provided as a starting point only.

You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and deciding whether to use any AI-generated content. We make no guarantee that AI-generated content is accurate, appropriate, or fit for purpose. Always read AI output critically before submitting it to an employer.

Some features of Gradux require a paid subscription. Subscription fees are charged in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice.

If your payment fails, access to paid features may be suspended until payment is received. You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.

Consumers based in the United Kingdom or European Union have a 14-day right of withdrawal for new subscriptions. By using paid features before the 14-day period expires, you acknowledge that the right of withdrawal may be waived upon full performance of the service.

You retain ownership of the content you upload to Gradux: your CVs, cover letters, STAR entries, and other materials. By uploading content, you grant us a limited licence to store and process it solely to provide the service.

We do not sell your content to third parties or use it to train AI models without your explicit consent.

Gradux and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our software or branding without written permission.

Your use of Gradux is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Gradux is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will help you secure employment.

Gradux is a productivity tool, not a recruitment agency. We have no affiliation with the employers whose names may appear in the application tracker.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Gradux, including but not limited to lost job opportunities, lost data, or reliance on AI-generated content.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of Gradux shall not exceed the amounts you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the breach.

Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by a prominent notice in the product. Continued use of Gradux after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where mandatory local law requires otherwise.
